The Basics:
My name is Melissa Holden, I am an undergraduate at Canterbury Christ Church University and have lived in Kent my entire life.
I'm 20 years old, 5'3, a natural blonde but I have red hair, I'm chubby and proud, I have hazel eyes that look weird in pictures and I can often be found yelling at my smartphone because it won't co-operate.
Writing Career:
To date, I have seven self-published books (which you can find here). My first novel, The Snow Killer, came out November 2013 and started off as blog posts on my first ever blog. From there my career escalated as my skills improved, so did my writing. I moved on to bigger and better things, and eventually became Editor for Her Campus CCCU in 2013.
Since 2013, I've been using social media as a marketing device and have created a career out of thin air. I won't lie to you - being a writer isn't glamorous and if it wasn't for student loans and a part time job, I would have starved to death a long time ago. Obviously, I one day hope to be able to earn a decent living from my writing but until then - you get all my heart and soul for free!
